CyLock's PINSafe 2FA mode requests users to enter their four digit PIN number on their device before completing the 2FA process. The user is successfully authenticated only if the correct PIN is entered.
CyLocks PINsafe mode employs cryptographic techniques to ensure utmost security of user's PIN. PINSafe works in a manner such that the user's PIN is not stored- neither in plain text, not as a digest or a cipher, neither in user's devices nor in CyLocks servers. Any attempt to retrieve the user's PIN is rendered useless.
As a matter of fact, once set, we ourselves can't retrieve or access a user's PIN number.
Defend against attacks to retrieve user’s PIN number.
